Our composite score weights five factors:

• Effectiveness (40%) — average weight loss and A1c reduction in pivotal Phase 3 trials.
• Safety (25%) — boxed warnings, serious adverse event rates, contraindications.
• Tolerability (15%) — discontinuation rates from GI side effects in real-world data.
• Evidence base (10%) — number of trials, cardiovascular and renal outcomes data, real-world studies.
• Access (10%) — list price, insurance coverage, supply reliability, manufacturer programs.

What we don't do

• We do not accept sponsored placements or affiliate fees from drug makers.
